Dominican President Abinader dismisses 35 consular workers from six countries

Most of the constitutions were from people based in U.S. consulates

The President of the Republic Luis Abinader, through decree number 585-20, without effect the appointments of some 35 consular workers located in six different countries.

Most of the constitutions were from people based in U.S. consulates, mainly in New York City.

There they canceled vice consuls Pedro Pablo Zorrilla Santos, Cecilia Santana, José Joaquín Mota, Víctor Acosta, Giovanni Rodríguez, David Cordero, Elbis Marte Mena, Gregorio Malena, Elbito Emilio Deris and Xiomara Payano Pérez.

From that place were also fired the auxiliaries Griselda Batista, Miguel Vladimir Castillo, Lucinda Rojas Mordán, Andrea Jacqueline Peralta Rojas de Mejía, Rafael Reyes, Carmen Rosario and Luis Fernando Rodríguez Santos.

Also canceled were the auxiliaries of that Consulate Carlos Andrés Lora Javier, Edwin Abreu, Víctor Rivera, Noemí Moreno, Manuel Suero, Carlos Manuel Taveras, Ricardo Burroughs, Francisca Aracelis Infante Reyes, Felipe Féliz, Josefina Jiménez, Tony De León Galván.

Also in the United States, but in New Orleans, auxiliary Ramón Alfonso Rodríguez was fired.

In Curacao they repealed the appointments of Vice-Consul Rolando Cabral Tavares and assistant Cresencia Martínez, as well as his Colombian counterpart Oscar Merejo.

He also took over the auxiliaries of the Dominican consulates in Havana, Cuba, José Aridio Abreu; Antigua and Barbuda Rafael Fernando Peña, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Rafael Enrique de Jesús Espaillat Peña.
